Technology & Comms

Alongside our drones we have a range of technology at our fingertips to deliver connectivity, live streaming, survey grade mapping and much more.

Excelerate Linx Hub

Linx Hub is a rugged, dual sim, portable Wi-Fi hotspot that can easily be set up in any location, environment or terrain. Designed with mobility in mind, the unit’s numerous features can vastly improve connectivity in a wide range of situations. The 10+ hours of battery life, multiple connectivity features and on site selectable wireless networks gives us a rugged wifi solution on site available at the touch of a button.

Starlink

There maybe times where we are operating out of range of the mobile phone networks or due to an incident or large event the islands communications networks are congested. and our ability to stream live images back to control rooms or other agencies is hampered. Our portable Starlink systems give us internet access via satellite in a matter of minutes anywhere. It simple plugs into our Linx Hub for seamless integration into our onsite operation with no configuration needed.

RTK High Precision Ground Station

The D-RTK 2 ground station is a high-precision GNSS receiver that supports all major global satellite navigation systems, providing real-time differential corrections that generate centimeter-level positioning data for improved relative accuracy.

Connection to our drones is via 4G, OcuSync or WiFi ensuring uninterrupted, stable data transmission under any application scenario. Up to 5 drones can be connected to the ground station simultaneously. This makes coordinated operations involving multiple
drones a possibility, significantly improving efficiency and accuracy.

As a charity run entirely by volunteers we need your support to make a difference.
